How to Become an ASL Interpreter

If you are currently learning ASL, you may be surprised where that road may lead you. For many, learning sign language becomes a stepping stone towards becoming a sign language interpreter.

However, how does someone even become an interpreter? Where do you start? Are there special classes you should take, degrees to attain, or certifications to earn?

In this week’s video, my wife and I answer all of those questions and more. We even explain a few steps you can start taking today that can help you one day become a sign language interpreter!
