Whether we are young or old, one thing we often find ourselves talking about are animals. If you’re learning sign language and haven’t yet learned some animal signs, now’s your chance! Check out some of the videos and links below to build up your animal vocabulary.

Now that you have learned some animal signs, let’s put them into practice! This week we are hosting a free ASL group practice session and the theme is “Pets and Animals”. Come join us this Wednesday and practice with someone that is of a similar skill level as you.
Practice Session: Pets and Animals
August 5th, 2020 – 5:00 PM Pacific
Zoom link: https://zoom.us/j/761349379
When you join, just let us know what skill level you are … new, beginner, intermediate, or advanced … and we will create a small breakout room for you to join and you’ll have about 30 minutes to turn your voice off and make the communication happen any way you can.
These sessions are great for increasing your exposure to the language, getting out of your comfort zone, and using what you have been learning in a real world setting. They really help us get nail all three fundamental keys of learning a new language. Plus, you get to talk about your pets or your favorite animals with others!
For the past 4 months we have really enjoyed being able to host these free ASL group practice sessions for anyone interested in finding others to practice with. We know how challenging it can be to try to learn on your own and are happy to facilitate a place where you can meet and practice with others and we are constantly being blown away by the progress that is being made week by week.
We hope that you can make it to this week’s practice session, we would love to meet you. In the meantime, enjoy the videos and keep on learning.
